Leonard Rossiter played an office executive, Reginald Iolanthe Perrin, or Reggie, who gets fed up, becomes eccentric, and fakes his own suicide. In the follow-up, The Fall And Rise Of Reginald Perrin, Reggie sets up Grot, selling useless things and becomes a rip-roaring success.
