Yes Minister
Yes Minister was a long-running series on the BBC that followed governemnt minister Jack Hacker and his civil servant team of Sir Humphrey (Nigel Hawthorne) and Bernard (Ian Fowles) and was followed up by Yes Prime Minister with Hacker as Prime Minister. There were three series of Yes Minister and two of Yes Prime Minister - all of them excellent. The first episode was transmitted on February 25th 1980, and the final episode went out in January 1988.
